What is ECO funding?
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme
in Great Britain to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty.
The scheme provides funding to help homeowners and landlords
improve the energy efficiency of their homes.
The money comes from our major energy companies, who were required
to provide grant aid and support for a range of domestic energy
saving measures covering heating and insulation.
In a nutshell, it opens up a broad range of home efficiency
improvements to help people keep warm, slash energy bills and
reduce their carbon footprint. So it’s good for everyone.
